Design Support
for Print Shops

When you're slammed, we step in. Print-ready files, fast turnaround, no learning curve.

Some weeks everything hits at once. A big job comes in, three customers need files redone, and your regular designer is backed up. You need someone who already knows what "print-ready" actually means — not someone you have to explain bleed to.

Go Team Craig offers overflow graphic design support specifically for print shops. We work on your behalf — your clients never need to know we're involved — and the files we deliver are production-ready for your workflow.

What "print-ready" means to us

We design for print because we understand print. Files come back with proper bleed and safe zones, correct color mode (CMYK, not RGB), flattened transparencies when you need them, embedded fonts or outlined type, and resolution that won't blow up on press. We're not guessing at specs — we ask what you need and deliver exactly that.

We've worked with commercial printers and mail houses long enough to know that a "print-ready" file from a client and an actually print-ready file are often very different things. When you send us work, we're the ones making sure it's right before it gets back to you.

Common situations where we help

Client brought in a logo as a JPG and needs a full suite of files designed around it

Customer wants changes to an existing piece but doesn't have the original artwork

New job came in that requires layout work your shop doesn't have bandwidth for right now

Client needs a last-minute rush and your in-house team is already committed

File came in from a customer and it's a mess — wrong size, low-res images, wrong format

You want to offer design services to clients but don't want to hire a full-time designer

How it works

1

You reach out with the job details

Tell us what the client needs, what specs you need it built to, and what the deadline is. The more detail, the better.

2

We confirm scope and turnaround

We'll let you know quickly whether we can take it on and what the timeline looks like. No vague "we'll see what we can do" — a real answer.

3

We do the work and send you print-ready files

You get files built to your specs, ready to go straight to your RIP or press workflow.

4

You deliver to your client — seamlessly

The work is yours. Your client relationship stays intact. We're happy working behind the scenes.

Types of work we handle

Business cards, postcards, flyers, brochures, rack cards, banners, posters, booklets, newsletters, event programs, signage, menus, folders — if it gets printed, we can design it. We work in InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop and can match your file format preferences.

We can also take client-supplied content (text docs, rough sketches, low-res logos) and turn it into something production-ready — which is often half the battle.

Let's be each other's backup plan

Reach out and introduce yourself — we'd love to know what you run and what kinds of jobs tend to pile up for you. No retainer required to get started.
